I wanna start having updates on some websites i go on like other people. Does making one cost money, or is it free? Tysvm in advance

It’s usually free. You can make blogs on:

http://www.bebo.com
http://www.deviantart.com

http://www.blogger.com
Many websites offer blogs to their members, and most of them are free. You could pay for a blog if you wanted, but all your really paying for is advertising or a domain. You dont seem like you need that. You just want an online public journal. If thats what you would like, there are plenty of places to do that for no extra charge

I’d go with a blogger.com or a wordpress.com blog. Once you’ve created an account on both, you should be able to decide which one would be a better fit for you. I think wordpress.com is a lot easier to use.

You can go with a free hosted blog or install your own on Web hosting. The best hosted free blogs are blogger.com and wordpress.com.
The problem with a hosted blog is you are very limited, especially if you want to monetize the blog and put affiliate links or other ads on there to make money.
My recommendation is to do it right, pick a domain name that matches to your topic and that includes your main keyword, and buy some Web hosting. It is pretty easy to install a WordPress blog on your own Web hosting or you can use a blog insallation service like below that is cheap and easy and will help get your blog indexed faster.
