Apparently larger than I ever imagined. My husband is having an affair with a married woman and has filed for divorce. My sister is going to provide for me a place to live, other family has provided money to help me. Church and neighbors offer a shoulder to cry on and advice from their own experiences. The people on yahoo answers are the most unexpected support for me. They offer prayer and help and well wishes and that means so much to me in this stressful time. It is amazing how you can reach your hand out for help and people will just grab it and pull you through a bad time. I know now I will end up in a better place.

Unlikely, unless you offer something significantly better than other such websites. Also, the market is essentially saturated, given that almost everyone has a profile somewhere.
Just ask yourself – what would make you pay for a social networking site, rather than a free one like Facebook?

Probably not because your competition would be with MySpace and Facebook, which are free services that offer a lot of good features. You would have to have some amazing feature on your social network site that would attract people and make them want to pay a membership charge. The way that the free networking sites make money is from advertisements, so if your site ever got popular then you would start to make an income from it.

I guess you supposedly could make some money with it. But a six-figure income? I doubt that. What is going to make your website better than Twitter, Facebook, and Myspace. Those websites are very popular right now, and they don’t charge anything to join. What is going to want to make people leave those websites that are free and come to yours? What is going to make your website unique? You are also going to need money to start with to advertise your website. You could make a six-figure income if you really worked hard at it. There is absolutely no way anyone could predict what could be done online. I just watched an interview about the owner of TwitPic that formed a company worth 7 figures (he had offers) in a few years with his mom and dad helping him.
