Question: What TurboTax product should you use to do self employment taxes?
I’m currently freelancing at an ad agency and I’ll need to do self employment taxes. I’ve never done this before and I’d like to know what TurboTax products would be most helpful to make the process easy.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think that Turbo Tax has a software program designed for the sole purpose of calculating self employment tax.
I would suggest that you go the IRS website http://www.irs.gov and search for a solution there.
You will need to complete form 1040ES and I feel relatively certain that you will be able to find instructions there which will aid you in making the necessary calculations. You will need to have some idea of how much self employment income you will generate over the course of a calendar year in order to complete this process.

go to www.irs.gov and find form 1040ES, it is all there, you don’t need Turbo tax
