What Should I Write On Employment Application?

A few years ago I was let go from a job before my probationary period ended because according to the supervisor I was ‘not a fit.’ What should I write on employment application form? Can I say that I left to ‘pursue other opportunities’? The job was a little over an hour away so it was a pretty crazy commute. Could I say I left to ‘pursue other opportunities closer to home?’
